Was a home help for 18 yrs but gave up due to health and then became a devoted housewife and wonderful selfless mum and wife
Lived in cambridge since birth
And had got one sister who had moved away and three children
Mum had ovarian cancer first of all about 41yrs old and had a full hysterectomy and found 2 large ovarian cysts .
Then in 1997 after me and my husband got married we and rest of family found out mum had been diagnosed with hodgkins lymphoma aform of cancer which attacks the lymphnodes in body , but also had got osteoporosis and also diabetes and carpul tunnel syndrome and mum tried her best through the years to fight all this but with the combination of it all and went on to non hodgkins grade 2 which was more difficult to cope with and to treat etc the last time i spoke to mum was on my lunch break on the 7th jan where her rings had come back from sizing through weight loss and took them round that evening to find mum was in a coma through the diabetes etc and had to get bed down in a hurry and got lifespan nurses in through difficulty breathing and they made mum comfortable , and a independant doctor came in to say mum may have only hours left was heartbreaking cause all she wanted to do was live , but during course of evening breathing got worse and then we had marie curie nurse come in and sit with us who was brilliant and neighbours came in to see mum but we all took turns to sit and hold her hand and and talk to her and stroked her hair as it had started growing back and was really soft and downy and we played to her daniel o donnell through the evening as well as she loved his music , and towards very late evening breathing got shallower and doctor came in to say there wasnt long left our hearts were broken its difficult to describe the pain and about five past one in morning mum opened her eyes and i called dad quickly as mum was trying to talk to him but couldnt and then it was too late as mum had passed away about 1.10 am 8th jan 2002 bless her and then we took inturns to say goodbye to a precious mum and wife . the pain was unbearable .Mum was alovely person wasnt selfish at all had lots of friends and loved her music from the 60s to daniel o donnell and she meant the world to me and my sister and brother and very much a devoted wife as well to dad for nearly 40 years and even though it was nearly six yearsago it seems like yesterday in my mind and reliving the course of events as we thought and were told mum had got up to five years left with us , and mum you meant the world to me and all who knew and loved you and will never forget you and you will always be in my heart and mind and rest of family as well . And to say i love and miss you very much and you meant the world to me and always will lots of love miss and love and think about you every single day . And we all bought you roses which are planted in dads back garden which we named mums garden which has got roses with different perfumes which fill the air and different colours as well as our lasting tribute to you xxxxxx You were born on March 2nd 1947 and to say remembering you not just on your birthday and also mothers day as well so HAPPY BIRTHDAY AND HAPPY MOTHERS DAY MUM WHEREVER YOU MAY BE TAKE CARE LOVE YOU LOTS XXXXXX YOU ARE OUR ROSE XXXXXX

TWO FRIENDS WERE WALKING
THROUGH THE DESERT
DURING SOME POINT OF THE
JOURNEY, THEY HAD AN
ARGUMENT; AND ONE FRIEND
SLAPPED THE OTHER ONE
IN THE FACE
THE ONE WHO GOT SLAPPED
WAS HURT, BUT WITHOUT
SAYING ANYTHING,
WROTE IN THE SAND
'TODAY MY BEST FRIEND

THEY KEPT ON WALKING,
UNTIL THEY FOUND AN OASIS,
WHERE THEY DECIDED
TO TAKE A BATH

AFTER HE RECOVERED FROM
THE NEAR DROWNING,

THE FRIEND WHO HAD SLAPPED
AND SAVED HIS BEST FRIEND
ASKED HIM, 'AFTER I HURT YOU,
YOU WROTE IN THE SAND AND NOW,
YOU WRITE ON A STONE, WHY?'
'THE FRIEND REPLIED
WHEN SOMEONE HURTS US
WE SHOULD WRITE IT DOWN
IN SAND, WHERE WINDS OF
FORGIVENESS CAN ERASE IT AWAY
BUT, WHEN SOMEONE DOES
